As a PV Business Development Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for expanding Fidelity’s client base, nurturing long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the Pharmacovigilance services sector.
Your role will involve identifying potential clients, creating tailored proposals, and ensuring that every collaboration supports the company’s vision of enhancing global drug safety.
As part of the Business Development team, your daily tasks will include:
1. Lead Generation & Sales Cycle Management
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences industries.
Take full ownership of the sales cycle — from the first client interaction to contract closure.
Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Understand client needs and offer customized Pharmacovigilance service solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for all client communication, ensuring exceptional service quality.
3. Proposal & Presentation Development
Prepare strategic, persuasive proposals and business presentations that highlight Fidelity’s strengths in Pharmacovigilance.
Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with client requirements and compliance standards.
4. Market Representation & Networking
Represent Fidelity Health Services at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote the brand and generate new leads.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging business opportunities.
5. Performance & Target Achievement
Consistently achieve — and aim to exceed — quarterly and annual sales targets.
Track performance metrics and submit timely business development reports.
Candidate Profile – Who Can Apply?
Fidelity Health Services seeks a dynamic, self-motivated, and business-savvy professional with both scientific understanding and commercial insight.
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Pharma Management or Marketing) from a recognized institution.
2 to 3 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, or Pharmaceutical services.
Experience in client acquisition and key account management will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of global Pharmacovigilance regulations such as FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
A successful record of achieving and surpassing sales goals.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
